New site goes live!

Clearly the new site was a great hit, and so now what you see before you is the new, transformed Second Wave! This is mainly to celebrate the first birthday of the site: there are several new features to accompany this!

Firstly, the episode guides and research files are no longer on seperate pages, they are categorised by episode. You can see that by clicking on one of the Seasons to your left. However, the research files are not avaliable as of now, you can still see them on the offical Fox website.

Also, the Videos page is much improved: it now has sound clips that you can listen to as well! This page is still under construction but will be a lot better with more to offer soon!

Rather than just having DVD and magazine reviews, I have expanded the merchindise section and included games and books. At the moments, they are not avaliable, but again, they will be here soon!

The promo images are categorsied by episode and character now: if you click Character Promotional Images, you can search for pretty much every character that has ever been on 24 so long as they are in a promo image! Check it out!

Also some things you might like to know: to get back to this homepage, click the Second Wave where it says "Like 24? Love Second Wave!" at the top of the page. Also, the BAUERs section is finally here: to see it go to each season page: it is next to the Research files for each episode. At the moment only the first episode of Day 2 has been done, but i will continue through Day 2 soon!

Pretty much everything else is the same: I have tried to get everything up in time for today launch, but a few things still aren't around. However, they will be here shortly! Oh, and don't forget to check out the latest newsletter: its a whopper! As it says in the newsletter, we are taking a break for a few weeks before the next issue is released. This will be on the 25th August. Enjoy the new page!!

Updates!

I hope you have all been enjoying the new design while I have been away! I updated the On Set images today with just a few extra. I also plan to put up the Season 6 images for you all (I know, it should have been done aages ago!), and I will finish adding the Season 5 images to the Character Search function. Don't forget, a new newsletter is going to be coming out next week!

More Site Updates!

I have done a few updates recently: added the remaining Season Five images to the character search function, did the review of the 8th magazine, added pages for all the merchendise (and information on them all), added promotional images from the mobile-only miniseries 24: Conspiracy, and added some new stuff to the Video and Sound clips page! Enjoy!

Season 6

Season 6 has finished but we haven't forgotton about it here at Second Wave! In fact, I have just put up all 407 images from Season 6 for you to look at! Click here to go to the page! To continue with the Season 6 theme, i uploaded the episode guides for it! The next step is to do the research files from all episodes: that will come soon! Also, I made made links to the images from each season page. For seasons 2 and 6, there is a link to the screencap gallery for that season, but for the others, there's just the promo image links.

Season 5

Yes I'm sure you all remember the wonderous Season 5. Well i sure do, and i helped to revive my memory by unearthing 27 new images from it! There are two ones from 5x01, one new one from 5x10, five new ones from 5x17, ten new one from 5x18 and ten from 5x19, but i didnt have any from 5x19 before!

Go and enjoy them!

Season 2 Screencaps

I've added episode 2 of season 2 screencaps. There are over 440 images for you to enjoy! I've found a new method of displaying the images: rather than having the blue design, it is more simple, and all the images fit on one page. I have used the same style for the season 6 screencaps as well! Click here to go to the season 2 screencaps page! I also added a "DVD special features" section, which will have screencaps from the DVD special features.

Issue 8 of the Newsletter

That's right, the new issue is finally here! Its a special four page issue, with a feature article! It also has all your favourites: fun facts, character vote, 24:7 trivia and loads of news! Go check it out here! Also before the end of tonight Episode 3 of Season 2 should have some screencaps up and running: stay tuned here!

New Images

More Season 2 Screencaps

There's now season 2 screencaps up to episode seven. i expect at least one new one will be online until the season is complete. ive also been updating the special features section from the season 2 dvd. I also added a "current time" thingy at the bottom of the page. note: this is the time in the UK. theres also a countdown to season 7 underneath the navigation on the home page.

Theres also a new section in the images: Public Appearances. More images will come shortly: there are around 80 at the minute, seperated into folders.

Unearthed Season 6 Promos

I found that image that was used in the SkyOne advertising campaign for Season 6, with Jack blindfolded! Ive been looking for it forever and I finally found it. I also found a slightly different one from Season 6: they can both be viewed here. I also added 5 new promo images to the season 5 section, and 2 new promos to the season 2 section.

New Photos Section!

I've added the "Cast of 24" photo section! It has images of all the main cast in other television and movie appearances, as well as photoshoots. If you have any images you would like to contriubute, please email me with them - simon@second-wave.co.uk.
There are only 6 cast members at the moment. I also added some new "On Set" images: there are new ones in Season 1 and Season 3.

More Cast Images Added

There are now 12 different actors and actresses in the cast section now. Again, if you have any images I dont (I find it really hard to find images of some actors), it would be really appreciated if you would send them to me at simon@second-wave.co.uk.
I have also done the Season 6 Research Files, and I intend to do the Season 5 ones before the end of the day. Enjoy them!

Season 2 Updates

I have added 27 images randomly throughout Season 2: you can see the whole collection here, but the additions have been to Episodes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 18, but in many cases it was just one or two images.
I also added the screencaps for Episode 8 of Season 2, which wraps up the Second Disc! That means that there will be a new addition to the "Menus" Special Features Section, as well as an Episode from Disc 3 today!
